“Take Me Home” available everywhere

Take Me Home is finally out in stores and online everywhere today! Happy release day! To celebrate this special day the boys performed a very special concert for The Today Show in New York City. If you missed it you can watch a recap of it here.

♕ Bulletin 05/09/12 ♕

  • Harry has a new tattoo! It is apparently his sister Gemma’s name in Hebrew, how sweet! You can see it here.
  • The boys were in New Orleans reportedly signing an advertising deal with Pepsi.  Read sugarscape’s article for more information.
  • TWITCAM - the boys did a twitcam with Hasbro - the toy company that sells 1D dolls and other games. If you have been living under a rock, as I seem to have been, and missed it, you can watch the full twitcam here.
  • X Factor AUS - the boys are helping mentor in this year’s X Factor Australia. Episodes featuring the boys have not yet gone to air, but links to watch them will be posted as soon as possible.
  • Album update - so, there seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding release dates, previews, etc. of LWWY and Take Me Home. 

        ⋆ Live While We’re Young will have it’s first global radio plays on 24th September. As soon as there is more information regarding times, we will get on it! It will be released 30th September.

        ⋆ Take Me Home is available for preorder now, and there are various different editions and bundle packs available from their online store.

        ⋆ TMH will be released November 12th.

  • MTV’s Video Music Awards

        ⋆ The boys will be performing What Makes You Beautiful live at the VMA’s on 6th September at 8/7c US time.

        ⋆ In New Zealand, they’ll be on at 11am, and in Australia 9am September 7th on MTV. At this time, it’ll be 12.30am in the UK. I am not sure where people will be able to watch it online if you don’t have access to MTV, but as soon as I find out more information, I will let you know! Anyone know anything about this?

        ⋆ One Direction have been nominated for Most Share-Worthy Video, Best New Artist and Best Pop Video!

♕ Bulletin 31/08/12 ♕

  • The boys will be heading to LA on either the 3rd or 4th of September for the VMA’s! Harry and Niall were fitted today for the VMA’s and Louis, Zayn and Liam will be fitted on Monday! We all know Caroline will do an amazing job putting together their outfits!
  • They have been filming a bunch for promos, videos, etc lately (: how exciting!
  • The “Take Me Home” album will be available for preorder on Monday, September 3rd at midnight (local time)
  • And the full album will be released on November 3rd. 
  • LWWY will drop October 1st on iTunes!
  • WMYB is #5 on the YouTube Top 100 most watched videos!
  • For all our LA followers, another tour date has been added! August 9, 2013 at Staples Center! Tickets go on sale to the general public September 8 at 10 am PST. American Express card holders can buy their tickets now! Unfortunately, VIP/UVIP packages are already sold out :/ 
  • Don’t forget to watch the VMA’s on September 6th at 8 pm PST and keep voting for the boys here!

♕ Bulletin 30/08/12 ♕

  • The album artwork for Take Me Home has been revealed after the boys teased us by tweeting small sections of the cover. What are your thoughts on the album cover?
  • The boys announced that Take Me Home is set to be released in November, and will be available for pre-order worldwide from Monday 3rd September at midnight! You can watch the announcement here.
  • The boys did a twitcam! All five of them, shock horror. In case you missed out on witnessing this momentous occasion, you can watch it here.
  • Harry is at a photoshoot in London today, unsure as to what the other boys are doing
  • Anne tweeted about a little girl suffering from Neuroblastoma Cancer, who needs £500,000 for life-saving treatment. You can read Summer’s story here and donate if you wish.

Apologies, it’s been a while since the last bulletin! Now that I’m more familiar with the way this blog works, I’m going to try to post a bulletin more frequently. Might make things a bit easier for Robin. Send in an ask if I’ve forgotten anything or you have questions!

One Direction headed down to Radio 1 this morning to announce that they’ll be performing at this year’s Teen Awards. Wahoo!

Back from a weekend living it up at V Festival, the lads were looking a little bit like they’d been having a communal nap in the car as they stopped to wave to fans. Well, all apart from Liam two-kidney Payne, who was clearly on top, smiley form as usual.

He doesn’t seem to have noticed the comedy, Mr Bean walk Niall is doing just behind him though, does he?

Seeing as it was such a special occasion, Zayn brought along the badger that seems to have set up a nesting box on the top of his head. (x)

  • It is rumoured that the boys will be performing in south east asia on their world tour in 2013, performing in Jakarta, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines
  • ‘Morning Josh’ was trending after Josh tweeted “Morning everyone! Weathers not to good today :( studioooooo”
  • #OneDirectionPleaseFollowItaliasFan is trending at the moment, causing some directioners on twitter to freak out.
  • Anne and Harry have been busy tweeting about Michell Huth, a young boy suffering from cancer, you can check out his website here

♕ Bulletin 8/4/12 ♕

  • According to Zayn’s cousin Aaroosa on Twitter, his new tattoo says “Friday?” however it is unconfirmed
  • On Saturday, August 25th Nick will be broadcasting the full Up All Night concert that is currently out on DVD, along with behind the scenes clips (the same as on the DVD)
  • Rumor has it that Louis will be heading home this weekend to Doncaster, and Harry will be going back to HC but it is still unconfirmed
  • I’ve seen romance rumors about Harry and a girl spark from pictures before, but this time it’s from a mere Twitter follow. Today H followed American model Kate Upton on Twitter, and after an article claiming that Kate has a crush on Harry and that they will meet at the VMAs next month, there are already rumors about the two, to which Kate responded on Twitter: “Oh rumors they are so much fun…. You learn about new bands… But I’m a country music fan haha”
  • Today is Lottie Tomlinson’s birthday! (which is why people think Louis might head to Doncaster)

  • The Boys have been nominated for Best Pop Video, Best New Artist at the MTV Music Video Awards! You can vote for them here. They will also be performing.

  • The Boys have been recording a lot lately, however they’ve supposedly got today off
  • There are rumors that Zayn was spotted with Perrie at the Olympics and at a club last night, however she is still in Spain with the rest of Little Mix so they are false
  • Harry went golfing again today
  • Rumor has it Louis and Eleanor were shopping today 
  • Rumor also has it that Niall was spotted at the Olympics today but there are no pictures yet so it’s so far unconfirmed. His tweet  ”Just been to watch @johnJoeNevin in the boxing! What a fighter! Smashin it up! #london2012” does make it sound like he went though! 
  • There were also rumors a few days ago that Harry has moved in with Lou Teasdale, Tom Atkin, and baby Lux but I haven’t heard anything further
